A little history of Vert par Nature

We are a couple in our forties who adopted the Dordogne in 2019 and more precisely the Black Périgord, after having fallen under the spell of the landscapes and the riches of this corner of France.

Very concerned by environmental issues, we strive in our choices and our way of life to limit our impact on the planet. To be in accordance with this philosophy, we pay particular attention to our mode of consumption, both personally and in as part of our tourist reception activity.

We therefore use natural products for the maintenance of the property, housing and linen.

The hygiene products made available during stays are subject to rigorous criteria and choices for their quality and their limited impact on the environment. We use vegan and cruelty-free products, we favor products from organic farming, purchased from suppliers attentive to these questions.

The energy footprint of the "Vert par Nature" hamlet will be optimized in the future, through investment choices in order to allow:

  • eliminate the use of fossil fuels for heating

  • reduce electricity consumption for heating

  • reduce electricity consumption for hot water production

  • reduce power consumption for daily needs

All these technical solutions possible today will accompany behaviors

responsible on a daily basis.

Other projects following the same approach are slowly maturing.

We want to provide the opportunity to stay in a place with a measured ecological impact.
